Short description: Interactive mixed-media art installation

Project description:

We are creating an interactive mixed-media art project called "inter/act_error" as part of the Medialab for our Bachelor's degree program in Media Technology. Our installation serves as a performance table for live acts as well as an interactive installation. Both elements are designed to form a rock-like sculpture when combined. In our project we address themes of evolution, development, and impermanence. It’s about the constant change of time and humanity's inability to escape this change. We want to visualize this contradiction—the attempt to intervene in a rapidly moving system without being able to control it. The visitor will experience the various stages of development with all their senses, can playfully manipulate the present, and must ultimately decide which world they want to live in. We observe how the past is reflected in the present and how this dynamic evolves. The work challenges the viewer to recognize the origin and question the changes of the future.
