Short description: In Tide Up, a cozy yet impactful eco-adventure, players take on the role of a mariner restoring a polluted island world by collecting and upcycling debris, helping affected communities, uncovering crafting recipes, and transforming the environment into a thriving, sustainable ecosystem—one piece of trash at a time.
Project description:
In a polluted island world, a determined mariner begins a heartfelt journey to restore the seas and inspire change—one piece of trash at a time. Tide Up is an eco-adventure where players traverse both land and sea, collecting debris, recycling and upcycling materials, and upgrading their boat. Starting on a small, trash-covered island, players use tools like a fishing rod and shovel to gather waste from beaches and waters, converting it into valuable resources. Every item collected can be broken down and repurposed using recipes that are still left to discover. Along the way, players meet islanders whose lives have been shaped by pollution. Helping them unlocks quests and spreads awareness of sustainable living. As communities learn to upcycle, the islands slowly transform into thriving ecosystems. With dedication the player shapes a cleaner world. Tide Up is both a cozy game and a call to environmental action.
