Short description: Learn how to handle difficult conversations with immersive VR simulation!

Project description:

The primary objective of “Break The Silence” is to immerse social work students in a controlled, realistic scenario—a family dinner—where they must effectively navigate challenging conversations. The game is tailored for social work students, offering them a safe environment to practice handling delicate situations and making impactful dialogue choices. During the simulation, students are tasked with engaging with non-player characters (NPCs) whose responses evolve based on the student's interaction. The system provides instant and detailed feedback on their performance, helping them understand the nuances of effective communication and conflict resolution in social work settings. During the game, players are immersed in a realistic family dinner scenario where the conversation quickly shifts towards sensitive social issues. The game features a branching narrative that unfolds through multiple dialogue paths, each influencing NPC trust and relationship dynamics.
