Short description: EmpowerTHEM empowers teens to break stereotypes, build confidence, and embrace equality through creative, interactive workshops.
Project description:
EmpowerTHEM is a transformative initiative designed to empower teens aged 14-15 through workshops that blend educational content with creative, interactive activities. Focused on addressing gender stereotypes, emotional intelligence, and self-expression, the program offers separate workshops for boys and girls, creating safe spaces to explore identity and growth. Boys learn to redefine masculinity and develop emotional awareness, while girls focus on building confidence and challenging societal standards. The workshops also tackle shared issues like peer pressure, social media use, and mental well-being. Supported by mentors, educators, gender-experts and psychologists, EmpowerTHEM aims to equip teens with the skills and self-awareness needed to thrive while fostering a culture of empathy and equality. EmpowerTHEM empowers teens to break stereotypes, build confidence, and embrace equality through creative, interactive workshops.
