Short description: VR game about the new 3D printers of the FH
Project description:
The VR Escape Room project aims to merge education and entertainment to create an engaging and instructive learning experience for students aged 18 to 25. The project leverages virtual reality technology to introduce students to the 3D printer in the Maker's Lab, teaching them through an immersive adventure. After a quick tutorial, the player will be confronted with puzzles and riddles to not only teach, but also engage the student and make them interested in 3D printing.
As the main story begins, the player wakes up in a lab as a test subject for an evil company. After decades of research into 3D printing and filaments, the company has developed a super-fast 3D printer and filaments with special properties. The player uses the 3D printer to create shapes with these special properties to solve puzzles and (hopefully) escape the research facility. The lab is divided into three or more levels, with each level introducing a new filament.
