Short description: A relaxing puzzle game about ecosystem restoration in a swamp landscape

Project description:

Swampify is a strategy/puzzle game in which it is your task to restore a dried up swamp ecosystem to its former glory. On a field of hexagonal tiles, you’ll have to strategically lay out the course of a river, to bring the source of life back into the dead land and turn as much surrounding land as possible into a flourishing swamp filled with life! The game has an overall relaxing atmosphere, there is no direct pressure. However, more ambitious players can still try to play strategically and think carefully about how to place their river tiles in the most efficient way possible. The game aims to raise awareness of the current state of many swamp ecosystems, and the importance to restore and protect them, as they are the habitat of many plant and animal species. For players in Austria, it also includes a local reference on top of that, as swamps are native type of environment.
