Short description: In Apophis you can enjoy a new kind of VR experience. Explore, collect, restore and progress through a hostile, fractured world to uncover the truth about your lost friend’s whereabouts.
Project description:
Apophis is about exploring a wonderfully designed world and experiencing an exciting and interactive story. The player must find their own way through the world and overcome obstacles in new ways. The focus on VR plays an important role here to offer an enormously immersive experience and to experience a new kind of adventure. The game is about exploring and interacting with the fantastic world, which the player can experience at their own pace and in their own way.
The gameplay consists of three major features:
• The player will explore a vast and interesting world, consisting of four areas.
• The player must solve some minor puzzles at some points of their journey to make progress. The puzzles are different in each area.
• The player can collect (drill) resources while exploring. Those resources can be used to craft (print) story items and vehicle upgrades. To print certain items, their corresponding blueprints have first to be found (scanned) in the game world.
